| Haven't had an awesome weekend like this weekend in a long time. Went to Napa for wine tasting (Sterling Winery), eating at awesome restaurants (Bouchan's Bakery, Culinary Institute of America and Taylor's automatic refresher), watching Harold and Kumar, and buying some new clothes for cheap at the Outlet in Napa. I haven't had this type of weekend for a long time. It was like a small vacation. Was able to relax and just have fun. Only thing that could have made this weekend better was probably doing it with a girlfriend. Ah well it was nice but probably not the right time. Just got to wait for the right time.

| So it's been awhile since I last wrote here. Nothing really has been going on except work. Don't get me wrong, I like my job. It does get monotonous at times, but I'm learning a lot. I've basically feel like it's a routine lately. I guess that's part of life. In any case, next week is Vegas weekend. So excited about that. It's Deborah's birthday!! Next month is pretty much the same since I will be going to go to Vegas again at the end of the month (lol talk about routine =b) I've been able to play more golf now that I work pretty much right next to a golf course and also my coworkers like playing golf as well. Hopefully my regular group of golfers will want to go again (that's dream.) As you have notice I am pretty bored right now so if anybody has any thought as to what to do or if they're bored to let me know and let's go do something.

| So i have finally decided where I am going to work at now... drumroll please... Symbol/Motorola... I'll be part of their Test Engineering department. It was a close decision but I think that this is probably the way I want to go with career choice so I'm excited about that. We'll see how it goes. | | |
| So I'm currently looking for a job. One place that came to mind was this place in Japan. They were more like recruiters for other companies. Basically think staffing firm in Japan. I went in for an interview earlier this month and they finally gave me a response. The following is the letter. Dear John,
Thank you very much for visiting the San Jose training center and taking the screening test this month.
Upon our screening process, we have concluded to accept you to the G.E.T. Special Trainee Program. Congratulations ! You are now setting your first step into becoming a bilingual engineer in Japan.
Please reply me if you would like to proceed further with this opportunity.
We look forward to hearing from you soon.
Regards,
Satoru *
So yeah just another decision in my quest to rule the world rofl j.k | | |
| So the time has come... it is almost the end of my college career well for now that is. Just need to pass two more test and I'm home free. Wow the journey was really long but just glad it's almost over. In any case for those of you who want to attend the event. The college of engineering graduation is at friday May 25th at 3 pm in the Event Center. There will be a dinner at Hot Pot City afterwards probably around 7ish. If you can't make it to either those events, there is a 9am graduation with San Jose State University at South campus. That event starts at 9 am. I know some of you may be at fanime so be aware there may be an after party on Friday (maybe Saturday.) (yes, I'm thinkin about getting hammered and then going to go play mah jong at fanime.) But yeah if you want more information just contact me. If you don't know of a way contact me... just leave a message here and i'll get back to you... (also if you don't have my info... who are you?)
